Thunder 10UA, 12UA and 14UA played hard in their semi-final games in their divisions and took third place at the State Championships in Valencia on March 25th, 2023. 

Capital Thunder was the only California club to have three teams in the state finals as our teams faced strong competition from throughout southern California. All of our teams battled hard with four games being decided by a single goal.

The final results for each division:

10UA level – Empire Hockey from Ontario won the Championship

12UA level – The Jr Condors from Bakersfield won the Championship

14UA level – The Orange County Hockey Club won the Championship

16UA level – The Jr Sharks defeated the San Francisco Sabercats to win the Championship.

What a year this has been for our club – we have had outstanding results at every level from tournament champions to Norcal champions to three state finalists. The state tournament officially concludes  our exciting 2022 – 2023 season and we want to thank all the players, coaches, parents and families who came out and gave their full support to all of our teams throughout the entire year.
