Resources

The California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), the governing entity for NorCal and Capital Thunder, has implemented a mandatory “Anti Bullying and Inclusivity”training for all players, parents, coaches, Board members, and volunteers at all age levels.

ADULTS / PARENTS / GUARDIANS

A parent must complete the “adult” portion before the player will be able to have access.

Parents must use THEIR name and USA Hockey #, not their child's. If you do not yet have a USA Hockey #, you can register for free here

Parents, please complete your portion first: Anti-Bullying/Inclusion Training for Adults - Getting Started (respectgroupinc.com). Please note:

  • CLICK the “New to Program” button.
  • Please save the certificate for your records. Do not send it to Capital Thunder, NorCal or CAHA.

If you experience any technical issues with the training, please click here. The helpdesk is available 7 days a week from 6 am to 10 pm MST and will have the quickest response.

Players

Once the parent portion is completed, the player can complete the player portion: Anti-Bullying/Inclusion Training for Youth - Getting Started (respectgroupinc.com)

When parents register their child, they must use their child's name and USA Hockey#.

  • Once a parent has completed the training, the player will have to create an account on their own, with their own email address and password.
  • At the bottom of their creation form is a line where the parent’s certification from the training number needs to be entered (just above where the “I’m not a robot” button).
  • Have your player’s USA Hockey number handy as it is one of the required fields.
  • Please save the certificate for you records.

The club is receiving updates from CAHA notifying us who has registered.

This training is mandatory in order to participate in the 2024 Spring program and needs to be completed prior to getting on the ice (week of April 8th).

Please complete well in advance of the deadline.

Completion by the due date are required of the parent AND player
